Services Provided
With funding provided by the Florida legislature, the Florida Cleft and Craniofacial Network (FCCN) has developed five regions throughout the state including West Florida, North Central, Jacksonville Area, Tampa Bay Area, and South Florida to better serve children born with cleft lip/palate or other craniofacial malformations and their families.

FCCN provides an array of services and supplies including:

A toll-free "hot line" for parents and professionals throughout the state (800-726-2029).

Educational pamphlets, books, videotapes and DVDs on feeding techniques, genetics, treatment, etc.

Specialized feeding supplies (such as specially designed bottles and nipples).

Counseling pregnant women whose baby has been diagnosed with a craniofacial difference.

Assisting in communication between parents of newborn infants and hospitals, health professionals and other families.

Offering seminars on the topics of nursing care and feeding techniques for professionals and parents.

Providing workshops for speech-language pathologists on diagnostic and therapeutic strategies in treating velopharyngeal dysfunction.

Hosting annual family weekend camps: Camp Boggy Creek in Central Florida Camp "Everyone Is A Star" on the campus of Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale.

Feeding Supplies
FCCN purchases various specialized feeding bottles and nipples from different companies and provides them without charge on request from craniofacial teams, hospitals or families.

On the recommendation of the pediatrician of children with special feeding needs, FCCN will provide other specialized bottles and nipples such as the Pigeon and Haberman.
